This article details the differences between NuFW 2.0 and 2.2.

What’s New article explains differences between 2.0 branch and the old stable branch.

The fixed_timeout and transmit_mark kernel patches are pending for inclusion in Linux main tree (they are included in the Linux vanilla kernel since 2.6.18). They are not necessary but they help to improve some of the new functionnalities of NuFW. The dump connection mark patch 2.6.23/ 2.6.24 will optimize NuFW performance when authenticated connection tracking is done. This patch is mandatory to use -M option of nufw.
