Download and installation¶

NuFirewall components¶

To be able to use NuFirewall, you need two components:

• A installation of NuFirewall
• NuFirewall Administration Suite (NFAS)

Download¶

Most download are available from the files area. You will find here NFAS for Linux and Windows.

You can use the following link to download NuFirewall 1.0beta1:

Installation¶

Read the NuFirewall Installation Quickstart (English) or the Guide rapide d'installation NuFirewall (French) to quickly install and setup NuFirewall.

Installation is automatic. It will erase the hard drive.

To install NuFirewall, simply insert a CDROM made from the NuFirewall ISO in the target computer and reboot on this CDROM.

You will the be able to administrate NuFirewall with NFAS by connecting on:

• 192.168.1.1 on eth1 interface of NuFirewall
• DHCP assigned address on eth0 interface of NuFirewall

To authenticate use the default Login/password: admin/admin.
